I have athletes foot, and I am wondering what is the best product on shelves right now? Lamisal? Lotrimin? Tinactin? Gold bond? I’m not sure which one to buy, and all of them are around like $10 so I’m trying to purchase the one that will actually work instead of wasting my money.

I have athletes foot for a while, it runs in my family. I’m trying to get rid of it. I got the tinactin, but I’m not sure how do I use it properly.

After I spray it, my feet is wet from the “stuff” inside tinactin. What do I do? Do I let it dry? ’cause it takes forever for it to dry. What happens if I walk around the carpet barefoot after I spray the stuff, is it still gonna work? If I walk around with a shoe on, is it still gonna work? I mean my shoes is filled with all the stuff from tinactin.

Also, I know that athletes foot comes from fungus, but how long does the fungus stay alive in normal room conditioin? I mean should I wash my shoes too? My entire family have athletes foot for years, is the house full of fungus? Is it even safe to step into the house? If I somehow actually get rid of the fungus, what happen if I walk back to my family’s house? Am I gonna get it again?

My mom keep telling me it’s impossible to get rid of it, and she’s a pharmacist! Any sucess stories?
I do shower everyday, but I’m afraid to clean my feet. I actually never use sope to clean my foot. The reason I never done that is because I don’t want the fungus get onto my hands and than get onto some other parts of my body through my hands.
How do I properly clean my foot? Why is it important to clean my foot? Does the cleaning some how work against fungus?
Also, if I touch my foot and than wash it with sope water, would the fungus still stays on my hand?
I wear flip flop at home, and it gets wet from the stuff inside tinactin, is that okay? or should I let it dry?
Does fungus just attach to everything? (couch, bed, bed sheet, carpet, bathtubs?)

thanks.

I keep spraying my feet twice a day with Tinactin/Lotrimin, and it goes away, but then it comes right back!!!
I scrub my shower every week with blean soft scrub. I don’t walk around the gym barefoot, I don’t even take off my sneakers! I don’t know why it keeps coming back.
