Fungal infections are notoriously hard to treat — they just suuuuuck because it’s so hard to get rid of them! If you’ve tried over-the-counter creams and haven’t seen a doctor, that would be the next step. A prescription cream, used as directed without missing a single dose, might finally do the trick. You will also need to make sure you take good care of your feet once you’ve solved the problem as well — change your socks regularly, only wear clean socks, try to wear shoes that let in air (sneakers often make your feet sweat more than other shoes might, for example). Essentially, you need to keep your feet cool, clean, and as dry as possible.

If the creams still don’t do the trick no matter how hard you try, there is also an oral medication you can take that will wipe out any fungus in your body. It’s a pretty serious medication with some potentially unpleasant side effects, though, so it’s a total last resort. Talk to your doctor to find out what step would work best for you next. And good luck!

try tea tree oil……. it can be found at Walgreen’s, walmart’s, and your local natural food store, herb store. we recently had a small kitchen fire and my husband picked up the very hot cast iron skillet with his bare hand and got burned pretty bad. the next day when he went back to work a co-worker gave him a bottle of tea tree oil and by that afternoon the blisters were gone……….. I saw a lot of tea tree oil products today in our natural food store. check it out and good luck to ya!!!
